Meet A New Skincare Brand & Its Flagship Product
Everything about Strawberry Moon says lovely! The cruelty-free and vegan skincare brand, Strawberry Moon Beauty, is brand new. Their cute logo, a strawberry over a crescent moon, is pictured on its shipping packaging and the exterior box.
In fact, the co-founders of Strawberry Moon Beauty, Morgan and Megan, launched the brand in 2023 with their first product, Velvet Moon Moisturizer.
I’ve been using it for the past few weeks, and I love it. Velvet Moon Moisturizer was created for sensitive skin, but even those of us without sensitive skin appreciate the care with which it is formulated.
The brand describes their flagship product so beautifully, I thought I would share it with you:

When Velvet Moon Moisturizer arrived on my doorstep, I immediately read the ingredient list. It’s chock full of marine algae, plant-based extracts, hyaluronic acid, probiotics, and all of the hydrating ingredients I look for in a moisturizer. I like dimethicone for silkiness in my moisturizer, so I was also happy to see it included. At the end of the list, I noticed fragrance. The fragrance is so light that I can only smell it while I am applying it and just barely.
Honestly, the word I would use to describe Velvet Moon Moisturizer is delightful! The creamy, white moisturizer is very lightweight and non-greasy, the perfect moisturizer for warmer weather. It feels like silk on my skin! It’s hydrating, protective and comforting. It’s anti-inflammatory. It’s a terrific moisturizer to wear under foundation because it doesn’t pill; in fact, it’s almost imperceptible. Yet, it makes my skin feel soooooo soft.
Though I no longer have the rosacea I had as a child, I was very impressed by the photos that a customer submitted along with her review. Her rosacea improved dramatically after using Velvet Moon Moisturizer.
It comes in a one ounce easily recyclable heavy glass jar. I scoop it out with one of the scoops that I keep on hand at my sink.
